The idea

One app for writing lyrics. Your songs, your notes and your references all live in the same place, plus tools that help you look at what you wrote and get better at it.

Why I made it

When I was writing lyrics, I kept jumping between three apps: the file with the song in it, my notes, and a dictionary. Back and forth, over and over.

I'd rather have one app that does all of that. And if it's all in one place anyway, it might as well help me break down my songs so I can actually improve as an artist.

What's inside

Seven tools, each one does one job:

Vault
Lyric Lens
Deep Dive
The Quill
Lyric Canvas
Sonic Palette
Soundcheck

My favorite is the Vault. That's where all the lyrics go and where all the meanings live. It's the heart of the app. Lyric Lens and Deep Dive are the ones I use most after that, when I want more insight into a song.
